The Riesling Lame del Sorbo di Vinica owes its name to the centuries-old Sorbo in Lame, on the hills of Ripalimosani, north of Campobasso. We are 650 metres above sea level, on clayey-calcareous soils; the vineyard measures just over half a hectare and was planted in 2010. The grape harvest takes place in early September; maceration and fermentation are carried out in steel without the addition of yeasts. The refinement lasts for about 9 months, always in steel. At Vinica, it is forbidden to introduce external agents: the philosophy is to accompany the production process while preserving the quality achieved in the vineyard.

LAME DEL SORBO VINICA RIESLING: TASTING

Riesling Lame del Sorbo is presented in the glass with a straw yellow colour. On the nose, it is a succession of aromas of aromatic herbs, apricots, honey, marzipan and wildflowers. In the mouth, it is fresh, long and generous in correspondence with the nose. Good with tuna meatballs and dried fruit, or with fish paella.
