**Riesling Vigna Castel Ringberg di Elena Walch: The Vineyard and Winemaking Process** The Riesling Vigna Castel Ringberg di Elena Walch is produced from 100% Riesling grapes harvested by hand in the vineyard of the eponymous castle built by the Habsburgs in 1620 near Lake Caldaro. The terrain here is partly steep and partly hilly, predominantly composed of dolomitic rock and limestone, at an altitude of 330-400 meters above sea level. The white winemaking process began with gentle pressing, followed by fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 18°C. The refinement took place for several months in stainless steel tanks in contact with the yeasts.
