Planeta's Moscato Bianco Dry Allemanda is made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes on white, predominantly calcareous soils, characterised by abundant small structure, at an altitude between 40 and 60 metres above sea level. The vineyards of origin are located on the Buonivini estate which rises in the homonymous hamlet of Noto (SR) surrounded by almond, carob and olive groves that slowly slide towards the nearby sea. In these lands, the Moscato grape, generally used to produce sweet wines, is used for the production of dry whites which, however, keep the typical Moscato aroma in a more gentle way. The refinement of Planeta's Moscato Bianco Secco Allemanda 2017, which is appreciated young, took place for a few months in steel.

DRY WHITE MOSCATO ALLEMANDA PLANETA: TASTING

Planeta's Moscato Bianco Secco Noto DOC Allemanda has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections in the glass. On the nose, it reveals fragrant aromas of jasmine and white flowers combined with hints of Mediterranean citrus and penetrating saline notes. Pleasantly fresh and mineral, on the palate it reveals a full and fruity taste. With a good persistent finish. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table it goes well with vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes.
