The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Roccamarsi is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes. In the winery, the bunches underwent a gentle pressing. The alcoholic fermentation of the must took place in stainless steel, under controlled temperature and without oxygen, accompanied by a long maceration on the skins. This latter phase allowed for greater extraction of color, aromas, tannins, and other substances. The aging was carried out for several months in stainless steel.

MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO ROCCAMARSI: TASTING NOTES

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo by Roccamarsi presents an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it displays aromas of ripe red fruits, rose, and violet, which are complemented by delicate hints of black pepper and dark spices. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, supported by vigorous tannins and a pleasant fruity and spicy finish. At the table, it pairs excellently with cured meats and cheeses as well as with hearty dishes, especially those based on tomato and/or red meats.
