Aroma fruttato
Corpo robustoMongrana by Querciabella is born from a blend of Sangiovese (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), and Merlot (25%) cultivated in the Alberese area, a district of Grosseto. The vineyards, exposed north-south, are situated at an altitude between 20 and 50 meters above sea level. The farming techniques follow the rules of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The soils, particularly rich in iron, are characterized by the presence of silt and alluvial sands with areas of gravel and surface pebbles. The red vinification, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation, took place in stainless steel tanks. The aging lasted several months in concrete and stainless steel vats.
Mongrana by Querciabella has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases aromas of berries and red flowers intertwined with hints of red flowers, leather, and dark spices. The taste is warm, soft, and savory, enhanced by well-integrated tannins. At the table, it pairs perfectly with cheeses and flavorful first and second courses of land, based on red meat or game.
