The Masseto Toscana Rosso di Masseto is a prestigious label made with 100% Merlot, a true reference point for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs. The vineyard of the same name originates in three parts - Centrale, Junior, and Alto - in the territory of Bolgheri (LI). Here, the soil is characterized by clayey and blue clays, located at an altitude of about 120 meters above sea level. In the cellar, the grapes, carefully selected, were subjected to soft pressing. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 25-28°C, with the must maceration on the skins for 15-20 days. The blending of the three plots took place after 12 months of aging in barriques. Subsequently, the wine aged for another 12 months in the same containers.

The Masseto Toscana Rosso di Masseto stands out in the glass with an intense ruby red color and bright reflections. On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe berries, violet petals, and dark spice notes. Intertwined in the olfactory profile are hints of Mediterranean scrubland, tobacco, and cocoa powder. The taste is intense, structured, and with good freshness, supported by a mature and silky tannic texture. It closes with a long and engaging balsamic and spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses and succulent meat-based dishes, especially red meats or game.
