Lugana di Ca' dei Frati was obtained from 100% Turbiana grapes in the Lugana di Sirmione area, in the province of Brescia, characterised by limestone-clayey soils. After the harvest, carried out with a yield of 90 quintals per hectare, the grapes were sent for vinification which took place in stainless steel; the refinement took place for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel and for a further 2 months in the bottle. Lugana DOC is an appellation area that extends between the provinces of Brescia and Verona whose microclimate is strongly influenced by the presence of Lake Garda.

LUGANA CA' DEI FRATI: TASTING

Lugana di Ca' dei Frati has a straw yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, it expresses aromas of apricot and yellow pulp fruit that intertwine with hints of white flowers and timid notes of aromatic herbs. The sip is pleasant and characterised by a lively freshness combined with a strong minerality that persists in the finish. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as exquisite seafood recipes based on white fish and shellfish.
