Corpo medioThe Lagrein di Cantina d'Isera from Cantina d'Isera is the result of beautiful vineyards cultivated in the traditional Trentino Pergola system on the hills of the Municipality of Isera. We are at an altitude of between 250 and 300 meters with a good eastern exposure, on mixed soils composed of gravel, limestone, basalt, sands, and clays. The Lagrein di Cantina d'Isera, grapes mostly found in South Tyrol, are widespread in Valle Lagarina, where they have found an excellent habitat for decades. Harvesting, strictly by hand, takes place in the second half of September. Winemaking is traditional red and fermentation at controlled temperature takes place in stainless steel tanks. The subsequent aging is divided between tanks, always made of stainless steel, and barrels.
The Lagrein di Cantina d'Isera from Cantina d'Isera has a typical ruby red color with violet hues. The nose reveals scents of cherry juice, blackberries, lactic hints reminiscent of yogurt, and balsamic notes reminiscent of licorice, with final touches of vanilla. The taste is full, intense, savory, and juicy; pairs very well with filet in Puzzone di Moena cream or venison chops with blueberries.
