The Nasco di Cagliari Iselis by Argiolas is a white wine made from 100% Nasco, one of Sardinia's oldest grape varieties. It reached peak popularity in the mid-19th century when its high sugar content made it a preferred choice for sweet wines highly appreciated in European courts. Argiolas was among the first wineries to produce it in a dry version. Grapes are harvested early to achieve balanced alcohol and freshness. The vineyards are situated on calcareous-marl sediments at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. The winemaking process includes cold maceration to enhance primary aromas. Aging lasts two months on fine lees, with a small portion of the must fermented and aged in French oak barrels.
