Corpo leggeroThe Greco di Tufo di Mastroberardino was produced from 100% Greco grapes. The reference vineyards, facing Southeast, are rooted in predominantly clay-limestone soils, at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level. The harvest was done by hand in the second decade of October. The white winemaking process took place in stainless steel for 20 days, at a temperature of 16-18°C. Aging occurred for several months in stainless steel and bottle. It is said that the ancient Greek people of the Pelasgians brought the Greco vine from Thessaly to the Avellino area, in the 1st century BC.
The Greco di Tufo di Mastroberardino presents itself with an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, it boasts hints of peach and tropical yellow pulp fruit followed by notes of white flowers and citrus hints of cedar. The palate is soft and well-structured, supported by a gentle freshness and a distinct minerality that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with fresh cheeses, vegetarian dishes, as well as flavorful seafood preparations. It is also worth trying with pizza.
