La Freisa Langhe di Burlotto is obtained from 100% Freisa grapes grown in the small town of Verduno, in the province of Cuneo. The winemaking process for this red wine, known for its straightforward and authentic character, included a phase of alcoholic fermentation in open oak vats and stainless steel tanks. The aging, on the other hand, took place in large French oak barrels for several months. Freisa is a native Piedmontese grape variety capable of producing wines with low tannins and great drinkability.

FREISA LANGHE BURLOTTO: TASTING NOTES

In the glass, the Freisa Langhe di Burlotto presents itself with a delicate ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals fragrant aromas of small red fruits intertwined with floral hints of violet and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and immediate, supported by a vibrant freshness and a crisp minerality that lingers on the finish. Excellent as an all-round red wine, it pairs well with cold cuts and fresh and semi-aged cheeses, as well as with first and second courses of red meat-based dishes.
