Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioGraci's Etna Rosso is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes from the territory of Passopisciaro, a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia (CT) on the northeast side of Mount Etna. The vineyards are situated on brown volcanic soils rich in skeleton, at an altitude between 600 and 700 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out with a yield of 35-40 quintals per hectare. Vinification took place in cement tanks with the use of indigenous yeasts and included a must maceration phase in contact with the skins for 30 days. Before bottling, Graci's Etna Rosso aged for 18 months in cement tanks.
ETNA ROSSO GRACI: TASTING NOTES
Graci's Etna Rosso presents itself with a ruby red color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red fruits and pomegranate intertwined with subtle floral hints of rose and notes of Mediterranean herbs. The olfactory bouquet is completed by light touches of leather and cinchona. The taste is soft and mineral, supported by smooth tannins and a pleasant finish of blood orange. Excellent pairing with succulent red meat dishes such as a good roast beef with a side of eggplant caponata.
