The Etna Bianco di Giovanni Rosso was produced mainly from Carricante grapes grown in Contrada Solicchiata, in the territory of the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia (CT). The vineyards facing North and Northeast are rooted in volcanic soil. After the harvest, which took place in mid-October, the bunches were transported to the cellar for vinification. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for a period of 15 days and was preceded by a brief maceration of the must in contact with the skins. The aging process lasted for 5 months in stainless steel with lees contact.
ETNA BIANCO GIOVANNI ROSSO: TASTING
The Etna Bianco di Giovanni RossoEtna Bianco Contrada Montedolce by Giovanni Rosso appears in the glass with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it releases aromas of yellow flesh fruits combined with hints of spring flowers, delicate herbal and citrus notes. The palate is fresh and mineral, enhanced by a long and pleasant citrusy finish. It pairs well with vegetarian dishes as well as delightful seafood recipes based on white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans at the dining table.Product specifications
