The character of 2018

In Champagne, 2018 brought abundant sunshine, high temperatures and exceptionally favourable ripening. The blend of 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir channels that richness into a balance of breadth, energy and clarity.

The Dom Pérignon signature

The House makes only vintage Champagne, each wine expressing the harvest of a single year. Secondary fermentation in bottle and extended maturation on the lees are central to its pursuit of harmony. In Vintage 2018, they contribute to a generous, creamy texture supported by a precise, lively finish.

Tasting and pairing

Ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, tropical nuances, citrus peel and floral accents shape the bouquet. On the palate, richness is balanced by freshness, a delicate saline edge and a long, composed finish. This vintage received 98 points from Falstaff in 2026.
