Made from Bosco (80%), Albarola (15%), and Vermentino (5%) grapes, it captures in the glass all the richness of a unique territory shaped by the sea, stone, and terraced vineyards.
In the glass, it shows a luminous, dense amber-yellow hue with captivating topaz highlights. The bouquet is refined and complex, with fresh notes of candied citrus, hints of dried fruit, and delicate memories of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it offers excellent structure, well-balanced sweetness, and convincing harmony thanks to its fresh, savory vein, leading into a long and persistent finish.
This wine is born from a meticulous selection of grapes, left to dry naturally for about two months on drying racks. Vinification includes fermentation with skin maceration, followed by aging in small oak barrels, a process that helps define its depth, elegance, and aromatic richness.
The vineyards grow on loose, sandy soils rich in sandstone rock fragments, at altitudes ranging from 50 to 600 meters above sea level, with south-west, south, and south-east exposure. Training follows the traditional systems of the area, including Pergoletta Cinque Terre and Guyot, with a very limited yield of just 5 quintals per hectare, a factor that contributes to the wine’s concentration and value.
First produced in 1982, Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà D.O.C. 2022 is made in 9,200 bottles, each in a 375 ml format, packed in cartons of 6 bottles, each with its own individual box. The alcohol content is 14% vol.
