The Chianti Classico Brolio di Barone Ricasoli comes from 80% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on the company estate in Gaiole in Chianti (SI). The vineyards here have roots in soils of heterogeneous nature, very rich in stony elements, at an altitude ranging from 280 to 480 meters above sea level. During the red winemaking process, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-27°C with must maceration on the skins for 14-16 days. The aging process lasted 9 months in barriques and tonneaux.
CHIANTI CLASSICO BROLIO BARONE RICASOLI: TASTING
The Chianti Classico Brolio di Barone Ricasoli presents itself with a ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe small red fruits intertwining with floral notes of violets, balsamic hints, and dark spices. On the palate, it is enveloping and intense, with silky tannins and a pleasant fruity and spicy finish. It is recommended to pair it with first and second courses of meat, especially if based on red meats.Product specifications
