Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2009 - Quintarelli is made from Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and other local grape varieties from Valpolicella. Fermentation and ageing take place in oak barrels for 7 years. The winemaking follows a traditional technique, with particular attention given to the gentle drying of the grapes. The wine comes from the Valpolicella area, in the municipality of Negrar, in the province of Verona. The vineyards grow on volcanic soils, with excellent sun exposure that allows the grapes to reach full ripeness.
