Fina's Terre Siciliane Kiké aromatic Traminer is composed of precisely 90% aromatic Traminer and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Both grapes have been present on the island for a relatively short time but are developing in the Marsala area (and beyond) an interesting adaptation with distinctive organoleptic characteristics. The vines are grown at low planting densities around 500 meters above sea level, where they can enjoy good ventilation and a certain temperature range, determining factors for the healthiness and development of aromas. Harvesting takes place in August; fermentation is carried out in steel, as is aging, then completed by 3 months in bottle before release. TRAMINER AROMATICO TERRE SICILIANE KIKÉ FINA: THE TASTING Fina's Traminer aromatico Terre Siciliane Kiké has a beautiful intense straw yellow color with golden hues; the nose has important notes of fruit, island as exotic, fresh as candied, yellow flowers with sweet hints, citrus, herbs and brackish reminiscences. On the sip it is decidedly aromatic, soft, fresh, quite savory. Interesting both in pairing with traditional dishes, such as couscous alla Trapanese, and with exotic spicy dishes, such as vegetable curries.
