The Rosato Serra Lori 2023 di Argiolas is obtained mainly from Cannonau grapes with the addition of Monica, Carignano, and Bovale. The vineyards from which it originates are located at the Sa Tanca estate, which extends between the municipalities of Selegas and Guamaggiore, in the province of Cagliari. The soils here are characterized by brown and white limestone soils, within a hilly area, at an altitude ranging from 250 to 350 meters above sea level. The winemaking process involved a cold maceration phase of 4-6 hours, useful for the extraction of primary aromas, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 16°C. The refinement was for 1 month in the bottle.
The Rosato Serra Lori di Argiolas 2023 appears in the glass with a delicate pink color. On the nose, it releases scents of strawberries and small red berries that combine with floral notes of rose and geranium, and subtle hints of Mediterranean scrubland. The taste is distinctly fruity, fresh, and mineral. It pairs excellently with delicious first and second seafood courses.
