The Riesling Eruzione 1614 di Planeta originates from 100% Riesling grapes coming from the volcanic territory of Castiglione di Sicilia, in the province of Catania. The vineyards are located on soils characterized by volcanic sands, rich in minerals, at an altitude of about 815 meters above sea level. In the white winemaking process, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15°. The wine was aged for several months always in stainless steel tanks in contact with the lees.
