Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas is a wine dedicated to his daughter Sofia and was designed to celebrate the simple joy of sharing a glass of wine with others. The grapes come from south- and soutwest-facing vineyards located at variable altitudes between 500 and 800 meters; the soils are a blend of clay and porphyry. After a short maceration to favor aromatic extraction, the crushed and de-stemmed grapes are gently pressed. The must is then fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks and refined there for about five months, followed by a short period in the bottle.

Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas has a lively straw yellow color. On the nose the aromas are reminiscent of muscat, fresh fruit, peaches, and flowers, especially yello primrose. The sip is elegant and savory, with citrus crispness and a thirst-quenching finish. Sòfi is the perfect wine for aperitif when paired with fresh goat cheese or wild asparagus omelettes, but it has what it takes to happily accompany you during the meal, for example combined with a fresh tagliatella with pink prawns and zucchini.
