Cantina Sant'Andrea's Moscato di Terracina Amabile Templum was produced from 100% Moscato di Terracina grapes grown in the Terracina area, in the province of Latina, on soils rich in red clays, 7 to 12 kilometres from the Tyrrhenian Sea.The harvest took place during the first ten days of October with selection in the vineyard and manual harvesting of slightly overripe bunches and therefore enriched in aromas and sugars. In the cellar, after the crushing-destemming phase, the must was subjected to a short cryomaceration and then to an alcoholic fermentation process at a controlled temperature. Once the adequate sugar content was reached, the wine was refrigerated, filtered and finally left to refine in small temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Cantina Sant'Andrea's Moscato di Terracina DOC Amabile Templum 2018 shines at the sight of an intense straw yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals inebriating aromas of rose, apricot and yellow pulp fruit intertwined with hints of sage and Mediterranean herbs. The sip is enveloping and harmonious, supported by an appreciable balance between sweetness and freshness. At the table, it goes well with blue cheeses as well as dry pastries and delicious fruit pies. Ideal to accompany the sweets of the Christmas holidays.
