Moscato d'Asti di Ceretto I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano comes from 100% Moscato grapes grown in the territories of Santo Stefano Belbo and Calosso, rich in marl and located at an average altitude of 400 metres above sea level. I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano is the name of the company estate where this sweet nectar is born, a reality based on an organic management (awaiting conversion) that embraces practices such as contained pruning, thinning of the bunches, decanting, clarification and minimal filtration. A curiosity concerns the bottle, conceived by the designer Giacomo Bersanetti with an elongated shape and a label in which a half moon stands out in homage to the great Cesare Pavese, author of La luna ei falò, born in Santo Stefano Belbo.
Moscato d'Asti DOCG I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano di Ceretto is presented in the glass with a straw yellow colour with golden reflections enlivened by a subtle perlage. On the nose, it releases fragrant aromas of acacia flowers, lychees, yellow pulp fruit and herbaceous notes of sage. On the palate, it reveals intense aromaticity rich in fruit, enhanced by a fresh acidity well balanced with sweetness. Festive wine par excellence, it goes well with blue cheeses, fruit-based cakes and pies and dry pastries.
