The Marzemino di CantinaMarzemino from the Cantina d'Isera is born from the vineyards of the hills around Isera. The Marzemino di CantinaMarzemino is the most typical wine of Vallagarina, where it has found the ideal habitat, on the dark basaltic soils of Isera. These soils, derived from the degradation of tuff and basaltic rocks, give the grapes, and therefore the wine, a structure and a highly characteristic bouquet. We are between 200 and 400 meters above sea level with excellent south-southeast exposure. The grapes are harvested by hand in the last decade of September; the red vinification, with fermentation at controlled temperature, is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and the subsequent aging takes place in concrete.

MARZEMINO CANTINA D'ISERA: TASTING

The Marzemino di CantinaMarzemino from Cantina d'Isera is an intense ruby red. On the nose, it offers hints of wild fruits and cherry that blend with floral notes reminiscent of violet and geranium. The taste is full, harmonious, savory, fresh, and with perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent for snacking with semi-matured and slightly smoked cold cuts, or at the table, with butter and sage spätzle.
