Loving Tuscany and loving good Gin. Two factors that seem unrelated, but in reality few people know that the best Juniper, used for the production of many high quality gins, comes from Tuscany. In Teccognano, a hamlet of Cortona, in the province of Arezzo, the Sabatini family, a family with close ties to this land, decided to make this relationship even closer and to raise the Tuscan standard of Gin.

Thus, in 2015, the Sabatini family consisting of Enrico, Filippo, Niccolò and Ugo founded Teccognano S.r.l.

In collaboration with Charles Maxwell, of Thames Distillers, one of the leading experts in the field, the family chose the botanicals and their combination, creating a recipe that, respecting the rules of classic distillation, offers a unique sensory experience that immediately takes you back to Tuscany.



A London Dry Gin with a Tuscan spirit

There are nine botanicals of strictly Tuscan origin in SABATINI GIN: juniper, coriander, Florentine iris, wild fennel, lavender, olive leaves, thyme, lemon verbena and sage. Most of the botanicals are from plants harvested on the Sabatini properties in Teccognano, while the juniper, renowned for its excellent quality, is gathered in different parts of the region.
