The
Chianti Superiore Santa Cristina di Antinori
was obtained from Sangiovese grapes and other complementary red berry varieties grown in the territory of Centoia, in the province of Arezzo. After the harvest, the grapes were transported to the cellar to undergo different winemaking processes: most of the obtained must was macerated with the skins for a period of 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 30°C; the rest underwent maceration for 7-8 days at a temperature of 25°C. Before bottling, the Chianti Superiore DOCG Santa Cristina di Antinori matured partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks for a period of 12 months.
CHIANTI SUPERIORE SANTA CRISTINA ANTINORI: TASTING NOTES
The presents itself in the glass with a ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of sour cherry, plum, and red fruit intertwined with balsamic hints and dark oriental spices. The palate is fresh and soft, supported by smooth tannins and a gentle minerality that lingers in the finish. Pair it well with cured meats, semi-aged and aged cheeses, as well as hearty land-based dishes featuring red meats or game.Product specifications
