The Bolonero di Torrevento was produced from Nero di Troia and Aglianico grapes. The vineyards come from calcareous-clayey soils of medium texture of alluvial nature, at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters above sea level. The harvest took place between the second and third decades of October with a yield of about 110 quintals per hectare. The refinement took place for 8 months in stainless steel and for a short period in the bottle.
The extrapolated wine Bolonero di TorreventoBolonero Castel del Monte di Torrevento presents itself to the eye with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of berries combine with hints of black pepper and dark spices. The taste is pleasant and balanced, accompanied by a gentle fresh-savory note that persists in the finish. At the table, it pairs excellently with succulent land dishes based on red meats or game.
