The Brachetto Dulcis di Sansilvestro was produced starting from 100% Brachetto grapes. Although many attribute a French origin (specifically from Nice) to this grape variety, it now represents a true reference of the Piedmontese ampelographic heritage. Already in the 18th century, it seems that Brachetto-based wine was served alongside Moscato at the Savoy court. Delicately sweet, aromatic, and slightly sparkling, the Brachetto Dulcis di Sansilvestro is the result of a vinification process carried out in stainless steel.
The Brachetto Dulcis di Sansilvestro is presented with a light red color emphasized by a lively effervescence. On the nose, it expresses aromas of raspberries and red fruits that blend with clear floral hints of rose. The taste is soft and straightforward, enhanced by a pleasant fruity and floral flavor that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with fruit salads, dry pastries, and desserts made with fresh fruit or chocolate.
