The Barolo di Ceretto was produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the territories of PLACEHOLDER_WINEAREANAME, Serralunga, and La Morra, in the province of Cuneo. During red vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature and was accompanied by a long maceration of the must on the skins which favored the extraction of color and tannins. The aging occurred for 12 months in oak tonneaux and for an additional 12 months in wooden barrels. The approach in the vineyard and in the cellar was inspired by the principles of organic agriculture.
BAROLO CERETTO: TASTING
The Barolo di Ceretto presents itself to the eye with a ruby red color and garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits and potpourri of violets that meet notes of coffee, tobacco, and dark spices. Completing the olfactory profile are hints of balsamic herbs and graphite. The sip is soft and enveloping, supported by an elegant tannic texture and a long fruity and spicy finish. It pairs perfectly with aged cheeses and flavorful meat dishes, especially those based on red meats or game.
